
Joseph is a machine learning engineer with a proven history of creating solutions at each phase of the software development pipeline. He has worked in various domains including defense, healthcare, and education technology. His experience ranges from model development research to MLOps and deployment on production systems. Joseph is eager to use his background in computer vision and NLP to integrate generative AI techniques to the novel product development efforts at Jaxon.
Prior to his journey as a machine learning engineer, Joseph actually began his career as a mechanical engineer focused on research and development in the medical device industry through mechanical design, materials testing, and root cause analysis. Outside of work, Joseph’s current project is the complete restoration of the ultimate driving machine: his 1997 E36 328i sedan.
Joseph holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Binghamton University and a Masters of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Tech.
