Jeff Watkins is an accomplished data scientist and national security professional with nearly 20 years of experience supporting the US Departments of Justice, Homeland Security, and Defense. Additionally, he has worked extensively with the US Intelligence Community, numerous Allied Forces, and a variety of commercial clients representing multiple industries.
With deep experience working on diverse projects – from tuna-farm site optimization to radioisotope detection modeling – Jeff enjoys working on important, complex problems with interdisciplinary teams. Jeff’s work with the Intelligence Community was previously recognized by official commendations from both the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the National Counterproliferation Center (NCPC).
As a senior data scientist at Biocore, LLC, Jeff supported the National Football League’s (NFL) Player Health and Safety organization by researching and developing backend sensor and computer-vision based models for the Digital Athlete software product.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Virginia Tech.
