Brie Maurer is a seasoned data scientist/machine learning engineer. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics with a concentration in Statistics and Computer Science from Wellesley College and currently is pursuing a Master of Engineering in Applied Artificial Intelligence from Stevens Institute of Technology. Prior to Jaxon, Brie was a data scientist at CalypsoAI, working to advance AI solutions through the VESPR Validate program which enhanced readiness assessments of client computer vision models prior to deployment. Before CalpysoAI, Brie was a machine learning engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton where she was involved in the development of an NLP model that efficiently extracts and organizes key data from mixed media documents into structured formats. 

Brie’s work history not only highlights her knowledge of AI and machine learning, but also her commitment to applying technology in innovative ways to solve real-world problems – a dedication she now brings to her role at Jaxon. Outside of work and school, Brie enjoys keeping an active lifestyle through fencing, weightlifting, painting, and tutoring math.
