Verifiable AI for Defense & Intelligence

Your AI can generate an answer. But can it prove it?

DSAIL® (Domain-Specific AI Language) is Jaxon's verification engine for verifiable AI, built on symbolic solvers that can't hallucinate. It turns your written policy into executable rules and checks every AI output against what the policy actually says. It returns a deterministic, fully auditable verdict: TRUE, FALSE, or UNKNOWN, each traced to the rule and citation that drove it.

Benchmarked against frontier AI

The only system in the test that could prove it

Three models — GPT-5.2, o4-mini, and Gemini 3 Pro — ran two ways each: once with DSAIL® enforcing the rules, once with RAG alone; same models, same inputs. The only variable was DSAIL®.

Auditability

Only DSAIL® produced a human-auditable reasoning trace on every determination. Because the architecture is deterministic, any organization can run the same test against its own policy domain and verify the result. The Problem

Human review does not scale. Existing AI tools cannot be trusted.

Every existing approach to AI compliance is a probabilistic guess. In clearance adjudication, FOIA processing, and security classification, a probabilistic guess is an oversight finding waiting to happen.

Without Jaxon
  • RAG retrieves context but cannot verify compliance.
  • LLM-as-a-judge returns inconsistent verdicts with no audit trail.
  • Knowledge graphs structure relationships but can't read a document or produce a verdict.
  • Outputs cannot be traced to the statutory citation that drove them.
  • Compliance officers must sign off under personal and agency liability, with no provable basis to stand behind.
With Jaxon
  • Encodes your written policy into machine-executable rules.
  • Returns TRUE, FALSE, or UNKNOWN with a full reasoning trace, every time.
  • Deterministic architecture. The same inputs produce consistent results.
  • Every verdict tied to the specific statutory citation that drove it.
  • Output you can defend before an IG, a committee, or a commander.

How DSAIL® Works

Three steps from written policy to a provable decision.

01

EXTRACT

The LLM reads the document and answers tightly scoped, rule-specific questions to surface the facts.

02

ENFORCE

A formal logic solver evaluates those facts against your agency's encoded policy. Never a probabilistic guess.

03

PROVE

One verdict, fully traced to the governing citation. Defensible on demand.

Use Cases · Defense & Intelligence

Your policy, formally enforced, on every document.

Verifiable AI for defense means the same encoded policy applied to every document, in every workflow, with a reasoning trace on each determination.

Who It's For

Built for the people who sign off, and the people who deploy.

Verifiable AI has to satisfy two people at once: the officer who signs the determination, and the team that has to stand it up inside an accredited environment.

For the end user

01

Consistent determinations, every time

The same encoded policy applied to every document, every reviewer, every run. No inter-reviewer variance.
02

Decisions you can defend

Every determination carries a full reasoning trace tied to the statutory citation that drove it.
03

You stay in control

DSAIL® surfaces TRUE, FALSE, or UNKNOWN. You retain final decision authority.
04

Your policy, not ours

Rules formalized from your agency's own statutes and guidance, approved by your SMEs before any document is processed.

Deployment

Your infrastructure. Your data. Your rules.

Verifiable AI is only useful if it runs where the data already lives. Nothing leaves your authorized boundary. Jaxon is model-agnostic and runs entirely under your control, from connected cloud to disconnected edge.

Ready to embed verified AI into your Defense & Intelligence workflows?

Jaxon's onboarding team works directly with adjudication centers, classification offices, FOIA offices, and CDAO staff. Your subject-matter experts codify the guidelines themselves, and how those experts apply them in practice, before any document is processed. That is what verifiable AI looks like in an operational federal workflow.

FAQ

Questions federal teams ask first.

What is verifiable AI, and how does DSAIL® deliver it?

Verifiable AI means every output can be independently checked against the policy that governs it. DSAIL® encodes your written policy as formal logic, evaluates each document against it with a solver, and returns TRUE, FALSE, or UNKNOWN with the rule that fired, the evidence extracted, and the governing citation.

How is this different from RAG or an LLM-as-a-judge?

RAG retrieves context and an LLM-as-a-judge offers an opinion. Neither can prove a verdict. DSAIL® evaluates the extracted facts against your encoded policy with a formal logic solver, so every TRUE, FALSE, or UNKNOWN is traced to the specific rule and citation that produced it, and it returns that verdict at API speed rather than at the pace of a manual second review.

Can DSAIL® run in a disconnected or air-gapped environment?

Yes. Jaxon is built to deploy on-premises, at the edge, and fully air-gapped, with all content staying inside your authorized data boundary.

Does Jaxon replace our adjudicators, classifiers, or FOIA officers?

No. DSAIL® handles volume triage and surfaces TRUE, FALSE, or UNKNOWN, and your officers retain final decision authority over every determination. UNKNOWN is not a queue for human review: it means the document does not contain enough to decide.

What does UNKNOWN mean, and what happens to it?

UNKNOWN means there is not enough in the document to decide the rule. It is not the model hedging, and it is not a bucket routed onward: if the record is silent on a condition, a reviewer reading the same document could not determine it either. How an UNKNOWN resolves is set per rule when your policy is encoded, and for regulatory work the default is to flag the missing information rather than assume it. Either way the verdict is recorded: the rule fired, and the trace shows what was missing.

What policies can DSAIL® encode?

Your own. Jaxon's policy engineers encode standards like SEAD-4, FOIA exemptions, Security Classification Guides, and FOCI/CMMC criteria, plus how your agency applies them, approved by your SMEs before any document is processed.

What does a DSAIL® verdict include?

Every verdict ships with the rule that fired, the evidence extracted, and the governing citation, so the determination is auditable and reproducible.
